Considering the danger represented by the climate changes and the global warming phenomena scientists and businessmen worldwide started to look for alternative energy sources. Besides the wind power or the nuclear energy is has been recently taken into consideration a new power generating substance: helium 3.
What exactly is helium 3? Helium 3, an isotope of helium, a gas used to inflate balloons, has a nucleus with two protons and one neutron. The solar wind, the rapid stream of charged particles emitted by the Sun, strikes the planets and their sattelites in the solar system and thus helium 3 is deposited in the superficial soil (also called regolith). As the Moon’s atmosphere is not very dense this flow of particles easily penetrates the gas layer and reaches the ground. Over millions and billions of years that adds up. But for its denser protective gases layers the Earth would have been under the direct action of the Sun too thus being contaminated by toxic products. Read the rest of this entry »

Born in the UK 57 years ago and migrated to Australia in 1977, Tim Patch does more with his penis than any other man in the world.
The worldwide appreciated artist uses as brush his own penis to paint almost all kind of subjects from landscapes to portraits and from female nudes to caricatures. His approach to painting techniques consists in dipping his penis in the paint and then applying it to a canvas. Although a modest man – former construction worker in Brisbane – Tim Patch likes to be called ‘Pricasso’. Like the famous Picasso he might be considered one of the greatest artists in the world only that he is the greatest ‘penile artist’ ever.
His works are sold at fairly high prices starting from $200 (Australian $300) and he claims that his clients leave the exhibitions and the art galleries satisfied with … their acquisition, of course. Tim, aka Pricasso, is, in his everyday life a married man, father of four. He told AFP that he still does a bit of construction work just to compensate and subsidize his ‘meager income as a struggling artist’. Read the rest of this entry »

The last 100 years brought into the lime light of the contemporary literature and show industry an old element of the traditional European folklore and legends: the vampires. Thought to be un-dead damned persons, cursed creatures of the night, blood thirsty killers passing to innocent people their terrible burden, the vampires haunt the imagination of the public who is eager to be frightened by horrific images. Bram Stoker, an Irish novelist, is among the first notable western authors to have used the myth of vampires in a successful literary work. His famous novel Dracula, published in 1897 by Archibald Constable and Company, was at the time of its publication a moderate success. After 1922 when it was released a film adaptation, the popularity of Dracula and the vampires increased considerably. Nosferatu, directed by the German director F. W. Murnau brought into the show biz the image of the un-dead man who haunted the imagination of people seeing one of the first horror movie ever made.

Big ad companies make their best to sell the available ad space on their websites. Last year Alex Tew, a 21-year-old student from Cricklade, Wiltshire,England came up with the idea of selling pixels as ad space for $1 per pixel. The media and the entire world soon found out about this revolutionary idea that had previously been brought to life by this young man. Famous, including Orange and The Times, or less well known brands bought ad space on this web site.
Everything started with Alex experiencing a lack of money. His first thought was to raise money for his studies at the University of Nottingham. The domain name sparked his creativity and he immediately put on paper the features the site needed. He bought the domain name for £50. After designing the site himself, which was just a blank page, he invested $1,000 in a press release. The traffic increased and more and more advertisers were persuaded to trust his idea.
